My passion is functional strength training and conditioning and finding the most efficient ways to achieve our goals. I'll probably be personal training when im 70!
Unlike most trainers i came into the profession in my early 30's (37 now), when i started i was always keen to find out more on how the body worked and how it functioned, and what worked best. I soon became particularly interested in outdoor fitness and using minimal equipment or simply using items found laying around outside ie: logs, benches, tyres, trees, sandbags, hills, rocks, bricks etc etc. I know it all may sound a bit extreme and only suitable for 'hardcore' trainers but this can be done by anyone.
I began working as a fitness instructor for a 4000 member corporate health club in the berkshire area where i swiftly moved up to senior trainer, helping many people from all backgrounds achieve their goals from sport specific to weight loss and toning. After spending 3 years in the club environment i then had the opportunity to travel to america and train a UK client while on their business travels, while in the US i was able to pick up new ideas that werent currently being used in the UK.
Now i am here permanently and i am buliding up a healthy client base covering Berkshire and parts of Oxfordshire with other areas covered on request.
Training with me will certainly be different and you will be amazed at what we will use during our sessions, above all ive no doubt you will enjoy every session.
